Broken rear side shaft. Seems impossible to find a replacement C200 rear shaft in South Africa. Option 1 is to upgrade to H260 diff at the back. Option 2 is to make a custom side shaft just to get the Little Patrol mobile in the meantime.

The video from the incident :D Too much power and age catching up.

The 302 is a little wide for the Patrol engine bay. This forced us to use the stock 302 cast Iron manifolds on the Edelbrock Heads robbing s few horses.
This were cured by the fitment of 351W manifolds that were port matched to the heads.
With limited space a custom shorty exhaust were build.

Solved the broken side shaft problem. I made one
Could not find a C200 rear shaft in SA . Machined down a shaft from a FJ 45 Cruiser. Few little mods and it were on the go

Fantastic! Congratulations.

Can you post some more pictures showing the splines and also the threaded portion for the bearing nut?

Sorry did not take a closeup of the splines. Used a locking collar and snapring to replace the bearing nut.
