Hi Everyone I’m Bob, I just picked up a 1967 patrol. Honestly I had never seen one until I found this one, but these are the coolest little trucks. I’m very excited to get it back on the road. If anyone has an engine to sell let me know. Thanks in advance for all the help I’m sure you will all give me. I’ll try to add some photos when I figure it out lol

Nice to have you aboard. You'll find this a helpful bunch when it comes to bringing a Patrol back to life. Finding an engine shouldn't be too hard, there are some folks converting and scrapping that have them available. Posting pics isn't too difficult, you can attach them in the post using 'Upload attachment' below the comment window, or add pics to your own Gallery. They just need to be sized smaller sometimes, to save space and display correctly. Enjoy, and don't hesitate to ask questions!

Often times, the best way to get your hands on a replacement engine is just to buy one that still has a roughed-up Patrol wrapped around it.

Having a spare parts truck can be very frustrating while also a great learning experience. The frustration comes in when you go to swap parts and things don't fit because of changes in the the models over the years. Try to find one that is a '66 or '67 and you won't have issues.
