3-speed trans rebuild
I want to rebuild the 3-speed trans in my '65 Patrol but the only kit I've found so far is for 67-72. Is there a difference or can I use this kit?

It's the same trans for all the years, essentially.

Hi mate, there essentially the same 3 speed all the way through, they did change the countershaft/layshaft front bearing design in 1972, that's the reason they have a listing for kits upto April 1972, and from May 1972 on, the earlier bearing design is much better in my opinion.
Other then the bearing, i have not been able to find any other changes really between older model and later model box's, if it is it's only cosmetic stuff like a support mount cast to the side of the box for the later clutch slave bracket to bolt to, totally irrelivant to what your doing.
