A couple electrical inquiries

1...is the patrol,a 66...neg ground...or pos ground.......2..does the ignition coil need a resistor to drop it to 9 volts? or is there a resistive wire built into harness.... and a few parts im looking for still...glove box handle..rear tail light assembly(either side/need right)...cranl handle and right side step with mounts...license plate lens...thx all...paul.

My 69 is neg grounded to the frame and as far as I know all DC currant is AC is not. As for your voltage drop to your coil should come from a ceramic resistor on your fire wall mine is this way.

well..i dont have a resistor anywhere on my firewall....could be long gone....if anyone has a pic or 2 of what they got,that would be great to send to me.....cause as of now..i got no idea how its supposed to be.......right now im running a coil that has a built in resistor........points always did like 9 volts.......no matter what vehicle...LOL..thx all...paul......you can send pics to me directly or..on here....ill take em any way i can get em
