or even just a get together .......something for the cali members and around can get together to chat and look at projects and find parts....a member swap meet if you will...see faces and put them to the names....an informal get together....i need to see some other vehicles to get ideas for more parts...and to see who out bidded me...LOL....everyones thoughts?.....anyones thoughts?.thx all! My fear is that we start calling for sub set this and that, then we might even generate a sub set web sight. That would not be good. But, I'm all for getting together in a sub set manor, ie a CA meeting. Lets just not call it that!

I'm all for getting together, mater of fact funny you should bring this up. Because I'm currently living and working in Las Cruces N.M. But Im from So. Cal. I live and work in Redondo Beach for TRW, and our work here in N.M. is coming to and end. Thus I will be back in Redondo Beach before the end of the year. My patrol is in the shop here in Las Cruces getting the engine re-build. My plan is to drive it home via Albuquerque and Denver. Im hoping to visit some of the guys in Albuquerque and hope to pick up a seat for my patrol in Denver, then head home. Hey saw that someone did out bid you on that parts manual. Not to worry, I have one and am scanning it in and will provide it to the group when Im finished. It will take me awhile what with the move and all, just not a high priority. But if you have any question and or need a part number give me a call and Ill look it up for you. You will be amazed at just how many parts you can still give from NISSAN. Grant P.S. sorry for bidding up that one document from $10.00 to $150!

We should get togther on those ebay things! In that I dont care if I have the orginal, a copy of it would be fine, just need the info!

I'm forced to agree with Grant. A sub-chapter would dilute the original club. I would however like to see a list broken down by states or reigons. We have talked for a long time about getting together but distance tends to kill the thought. Some folks are put out if you suggest meeting where you might know there are good areas for exploring but happens to not be near them. Regional or state get togethers could get the ball rolling on an annual get together. For all you California groupies, I'm Gary Post and I live in Bishop, CA.

someone suggested an excellent idea about us working with eachother on bidding for ebay items. for example, if one of us bids maybe mention here on the patrol website that they are bidding on a specific item and are willing to share copies of it with others on the website in return for others not bidding against them competitively. just try to work with eachother, when possible. I for one would be happy to share in this way, plus, one of the reasons i no longer mess around with landcruisers is that so many people have jumped on that "bandwagon" that they are RIDICUOSLY overpriced and that there are so many people trying to profit from them in one way or another. let's not let our patrols become the next landcruiser.

Thanks Stephen, It's been a while since I've look ito the Member Locator, very neat. If any of you can't find someone in your area or haven't been contacted by someone in your area for an outing or what-ever maybe it's because you haven't taken the time to get listed in the Member Locator. Do it and don't whine.
