Wheel Arches & Stuff

Post by GrumpyG60 »

As I am going to be doing a rebuild on the G 60, I have had to research the available options that are still out there on a 40 year old 4b. Presently I need to get hold of some rear wheel arches as I don't have any on at the moment and the rear tyres are protruding about 25 cm past the edge of the wheel arch. If the police were to notice this, then my 4b, would be yellow stickered and that's the last thing I desire at this stage. I came across this website this today.

Download their product catalogue to see the full range. They still offer these parts of the Nissan G60, as well as other parts for later model Nissan Patrols.

1. Front and rear underlip wheel arches.
2. Bonnets.
3. Wind Screen Frame.
4. Radiator support panels.

It depends on how good you want your wheel flares to look.

A cheap option https://www.clarkrubber.com.au/wheel-arch-flare
Not sure if I will get there.
Not sure if I will get back.
But I usually do!!!

As money is always the issue. I went with your suggestion. I'm not a purist. I just needed something that fitted and kept the boys in blue of my back. It turned out that the previous owner had done something similar for the front arches. He was able to tek screw them under the front guard, as where I have had to drill directly into the body as some not so smart soul has grinded away most of the wheel arch. Cheers mate. It was appreciated.
