Hello Esteban. It is now my truck. I purchased a Chevy crew duramax diesel and kept my 2000 Dodge cummins diesel. My son wanted my Dodge diesel so we traded straight accross! I am headed to Williams Az (this is where the Patrol i got from my grandmother resided a lot) October 6th for the Route 66 JDM Classic to show the pickup build. I joined a datsun site the other day, its "ratsun.com" and posted some pics of the truck. I asked if this would be allowed in that car show "since its a custom build and not 100% Nissan". Well they went crazy over it and some guys have invited me to join their caravan to the carshow Fri the 5th when they drive through Winslow (where i live). I have been EXTREMELY busy this last couple weeks doing body work and priming parts! The roof is done! And it came out a lot better than expected! The windshield frame is also done, along with the grille. The front fenders and hood are being worked on right now. Im hopeing to get them done today. Next i need to do the body work on the bottom portion of the cab and the entire bed, along with getting her road worthy! I have 9 days to get this done, so that means with work (my job) i probably have 4 days to work on this! THE PRESSURE! But its getting closer. I will probably have it painted and interior finished in spring!
I hope you and the wife are doing well Esteban. Thanks for the warm welcome back! :D

I had a blast at the Route 66 JDM Classic. Everyone there was super nice! My Patrol pickup was very popular, i had a lot of compliments. What i really enjoyed the most about this show was how close and tight niched this group was and the warm welcome they gave me! Cant wait till next year, my Patrol will be 100% done! :D
