Selling my 67 SWB
I'm going to let my 67 go. I don't have a place to keep it inside right now and as much as I love driving it, I need a truck for more practical reasons. I've had the patrol for about three years and during this time, I've made it into a dependable driver. New tires, Alcan springs, shocks, brakes, seats, alternator, exhaust, fuel pump, wiring, soft top frame from Raul in Columbia, new soft top. I had the original radiator rebuilt, put all heater components in it (it didn't come with anything), original wiper arms with new blades, and new FJ40 side reproduction side mirrors. There are definitely some things I'm forgetting but it's been a busy and exciting experience. The patrol starts and drives really well. The body is in good shape with a couple characteristic spots that need attention. I've enjoyed it, my boys are going to miss it like crazy , but I'm going to sell it to someone who has the space and wants to have a great time with it. I'm guessing the odometer has flipped because it shows only 10k or so...I paid four thousand for the patrol and I know I won't be making a profit in selling it but I've just politely declined an offer of $7000. Please PM me if you have any interest. I am in Louisville, KY. Thanks, Darren.
* I forgot to say that it does need side glass. I have regulators and all parts. I even have a template for the glass. I just need the glass itself.

Re: Selling my 67 SWB
Sorry to see you get rid of it, you gave that Patrol a lot of valuable attention. Stick to your guns, it's certainly worth well more than that offer. You did right by getting one of Raul's soft tops for it, best way to go if you can't get the original.
Beyond any hope for intervention

That's a nice looking 67.....
somebody's going to get a heck of a jump start on an awesome truck!
If I was a bit closer, I would be on my way to take a look.

Darren, hate to see you sell your patrol. I recently sold my 69 to a guy here in Louisville that already had a 1969.

Hello, I am Richard, I live in Louisville and have a 1967 along with two other parts rigs. I was helping Darron with a few projects on his patrol.

Re: Selling my 67 SWB
I have seen a couple Patrols sell out of the Bowling Green area in the past year. Do you know of any others in the area. I just recently picked up a parts truck in Nashville area.
Re: Selling my 67 SWB
I do not. I lived in Nashville for years without seeing one. I will definitely keep an eye out for them now though
