G'day from Victoria Australia
G'day from Victoria Australia
G'day guys. Just found this forum. I picked up a new to me 77 G60 and I'm just collecting parts to get the old girl back off road. I'm looking for a windscreen frame and hard top canopy if anyone has one SE Australia

Congratulations and welcome to 60Patrol.
With a little bit of patience you'll be able to source the windscreen frame over there. And probably your best bet will be to source the complete hard top.
Good luck!

Yeah. Should be able to. The hard top I have is home made. Not a bad job but has holes in it. Haha. Its nice to go back to a simple car again. Just as much fun to work on as it is to drive it.

Welcome to the forum.
I'm sure you will pick up what you are after. It just may take a little time. Often it is easier to buy a complete G60 and use it for parts, but then you need a place to store it.
I assume you posted that wanted to buy on Gumtree. Is that orange patrol yours?
Want to post a few pics?

Not sure if I will get there.
Not sure if I will get back.

Yeah. The orange patrol is mine. I've been told there is a source for fiberglass panels here in OZ so I'm going to look into that and see if I can get some. I'll post up some pics later. Just spent the evening doing the swivel hub and bearings on the passenger front. Its taking longer than I expected. All the seals were blown and there was water mixed in with the oil and grease so its all a big mess. So spending the time to clean it all up properly as I put it back together. At least I know it will be done properly.

Welcome to 60Patrol!
Glad that you found your way here.
It shouldn't be too hard to find what you need, G60's are more common there than here in the states.
Glad that you found your way here. Beyond any hope for intervention

Re: G'day from Victoria Australia
So I found the place in QLD Australia that makes the fiberglass panels. Ozeast fiberglass or Noosa fiberglass. http://www.ozeastfibreglass4wd.com.au/
Windscreen frame is $495
Bonnet (Hood) $495
Guards (Fender) $355
They also make inner guards and front grill section. But I didn't get a price on those. All prices are AUD
