Yes it is. My buddy has not only just a cab, but one of THREE 1965 factory crew cab longbed W200's registered in the USA. He got that other cab in the deal and also planned on putting it on a Cummins frame as well. He's a bit of a collector.

Either way she looks fairly solid rust wise, and what better than a farther son project on an old G60 Patrol
He was planning on turning it into an off-road only crawler, hence the cuts and funky suspension. I think he was planning on a three-link setup with hydraulic steering. Lots of articulation but not very road friendly. We will be seeing what we can do to get the best of both worlds. It is in good shape except for the surface rust on the bare metal - no big deal. He'll have the coolest rig at school.

I just started my 69 rebuild also about a month ago.
They are fun to work on, little hard to find parts but its worth it as they are unique.

Yes they are tubbed. My friend had 44's on Rockwell axles he was planning on using at some point. There are some other add-ons as well - front shock hoops, rear raised shock mounts, custom baffled fuel tank to sit in the rear bed, tilt steering and other little odds and ends. He actually put quite a few hours into this before he lost interest.

Your Patrol looks like it is a '69, something to keep in mind when you are looking for parts. Some parts are not compatible with other years, especially some body parts. It's frustrating to go through the effort of collecting parts just to find the won't work. Never hesitate to ask, there is no such thing as a stupid question here!

It is indeed a '69 after I asked him. I'm still trying to find the VIN location so I can get the title. I found the original info plate but the short VIN left the DOL scratching their heads. I think I'll have to take it to the state patrol for an inspection.
