Battery lids

Post by Coyote Patrol »

Is there any difference over the years on the battery lid dimensions or the latch? ZED posted a pic showing 2 different styles of latches on 2 lids, are these interchangeable, or are the mateing latches on the seat panel also different?

Yes. I'd have to double check, but I think the 2 different style latches are interchangeable. In later models, the battery cover got bigger - making it easier to actually get a battery in and out of the opening. The latch also became a mechanical latch instead of simply a spring latch.
Beyond any hope for intervention
