New Owner in York Pennsylvania
Hello everyone. My name is Nathan and I just had a 66 Patrol shipped from Utah to PA. I had almost bought a really rusty one years ago here in PA and have always had a soft spot for them. When I found this one, I had to have it. I case anyone is interested, right after I had bought this one, the previous owner told me about 9 more for sale in Utah. I would be glad to point someone in the right direction to save them. I would have myself, but shipping 9 vehicles 2400 miles was a little out of my cash flow range. I do have a question.. are the doors different left to right on patrols? My door handle style and location inside and out are vastly different from side to side. I am glad I found a site with fellow patrolophiles? and a vast library of articles, manuals and knowledge. Thanks Nathan
Nathan

Hi Nathan, welcome to 60Patrol!
Congratulations on your new Patrol.
The 9 Patrols in Utah are owned by Tres. He's a member here, haven't heard from him in a while. He's been trying to get rid of those Patrols for quite a while. Seems no one has the means to get them out of there.
The doors should be the same on both sides. The '66 should have an outer door handle that protrudes from the door and has a square button. The earlier doors had an outer door handle that was inset in the door. They are not interchangeable without modifications.
Let us know any questions you have. Post up some pictures!

Welcome to 60Patrol Nathan!
I'm probably the closest one to you. I live near Leesburg in Virginia, around 2 hours from York. I've driven my Patrol through York one of the times I took it to Carslile, PA.

Well, I must have an early door on the driver's side. Does Tres in Utah sell parts? I would love to get a couple of things. Drivers door, better windshield frame, emblems (since all mine are gone). Here are a few pics of the old girl.

Here is Tres current ad:
http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=218&ad=36967745
I visited with Tres yesterday, he wants to sell complete Patrols, not individual parts.
He is asking $1500 per Patrol or $7500 for the lot of 8 Patrols.
