WOW, i don't feel so bad now. A few years ago i had all 4 seats in my Patrol done by another shop here and it cost me $650.00 and that included 4 extra yards of vinyl for the headliner. This lady here does an excellent job, if you have the old material for a pattern, she can duplicate the original seats.

We pulled the body off the frame yesterday so we could build the crossmember and finish welding the cab mounts and fish plates where we extended the frame. Today i hope to pressure wash the frame and wire brush it so we can apply the por15.
The top pic here is the inspection cover that i cut into the bed for fuel sender access.

I dont have any pics right now, my ipad has been down for a couple of weeks. The frame is done and coated with POR15 i also sprayed the bottom of the cab and bed with POR15. The 2" exhaust is done, and i have started to fab the tranny cover and instrument panels. After that i will finish the body work on the fenders doors hood and bed. I also ordered that snorkel that you see a few posts back. I hope it will work. Still a lot of work ahead, but im on the down hill slide. :D
So, I just bought this Patrol….

I look forward to seeing how you mount the snorkel. I considered using that same snorkel but ducting it through the vent that is in the rear of the hood rather than using all the snorkel's lower tubing.

My plan is to go right through the top of the fender into a box that i will weld onto the inside of the fender. I will then duct it right into the carb. Thats the plan anyway. :D

Are you using the air cleaner that came with the engine? Whatever you do, take lots of pictures.
