Post by ctcruiser »

I have a 67 and would like to convert to an Alternator. What is the part number for the alternator and what else is needed to wire it in. Also pulley and belt that is needed as well for this conversion.

In addition to the great how-to and info from Robert...alternatorparts.com shows a pulley that will run a (up to)
3/4" wide belt. Their part no. is A203. $26.95 it is 2 1/4" dia.
