traveling the Americas in a 1979 LG60 Patrol
We always heard that the countryside is where you find most of the Patrols. But we have never seen as many Patrols as we did in Cartagena, which is Colombia's fifth largest city. Up there, they use the Patrols as a means of public transportation. They are literally everywhere!
One day eating lunch at a small restaurant, we sat for 15 minutes and took pictures of every Patrol that passed by... This is how many there are:

haha... that's crazy... kind of like playing a game of "slug bug" in the US, whenever you see a Volkswagon
your arm would be sore after spotting that many Patrols...
