Have you tried compressed air? It usually works for me to use a sprayer fitting on a compressor and blow some air through the master. Pops right out.

A hand-powered grease gun will produce several thousand PSI.
Will take a little enginuity to rig an adaptor, but it will slowly and controllably force apart just about anything.
