valve clearance

hey y'all. i need to know the valve clearance for a 66. well, i have the numbers but they are in a wierd system. it says in my service book (.38nn-.4nn). what measurment is that. if someone can give me that much info i can find it out from there. any help would be great. thanks, R.J.

hello R.J. that means the valve celerance when hot are 0.38-0.40mm or 0.015". i took this form a sticker in my motor. good luck Oscr

thanks Oscar. i guess it was a mistake in my service manual. i couldn't find a measurment of nn. i thought it was kind of wierd. thanks again. R.J.
