The canvas is new/old stock, the window plastic has aged and some of the stitching needs redoing.

(By looking at the windscreen - with 3 wipers - and the front fenders with 2 lights, unstead of 1, either the previous owner changed them, or it is a 78 or later.)

I think it might be a "Frankenstein" VIN says 1974.

1. The original 3 gearbox.....Seems I have to double clutch is this normal

2.Wipers are very slow

3. Heater fan is there but no heater core or controls need some pixs to work ou what is missing

The 3-speed gear box doesn't have a synchronizer ring on 1st gear, so it's always needed to double clutch while downshifting to 1st. Also, these synchros don't last for long, unless you drive like in a funeral procession, so you might be experiencing problems when shifting from 1st to 2nd as well. Try to source these rings since they're very difficult to come by.

Regarding the wipers, you probably need to give the internals of the motor a good cleaning and freshen up the grease inside. Also cleaning the contact areas. You'll have to do the same with the wiper pivots and the internal linkage inside the windscreen.

Regarding pictures of the heater core and related, the members in Australia are the ones, since some redesign of the heater took place.

Welcome. Looks like you live in the right area for finding parts. Seems like when we need parts here in the States, someone usually says, "that is sometimes available in Australia", so something similar.

Welcome Stu! I'm in Geelong, I'd be more than happy to come past and take a look and let you know what it's missing.

I've had a 74 with the dual lights and 3 wipers. 78+ had the big Nissan badge in the grill. Earlier 73-77 still had the badge on the bonnet/hood.

That would good. I worked out that the third wiper was (PO) added home made!
I have put my G60 in for a roadworthy yesterday so I will see what I need done.
