Re: Engine Mounts?
Ouch - I'm not sure if I can keep my engine out for several months and keep my wife happy (now that the garage is completely taken over with parts).
Are you planning on sending yours in?

They already have mine... and yes, I'm just going to wait. I don't need them until I re-install the engine in my other Patrol, which will not be in the next 4 months anyway...
$85 each is about $40 more per mount than the Internet price on the OEM mounts, but I have had zero luck finding the OEM's anywhere...

WOO HOO !
November came really early -
I got my engine mounts back from Then and now Automotive, and how cool is this? They embossed the original Nissan OEM part number in the rubber:
cost was $85 per piece

Re: Engine Mounts?
I called up Then and Now and talked to them.
It's simply a matter of putting your mounts in the box with a note of your name / address / phone number, and send them off.
moore_rb sent all his mounts in, so they can do any of our engine mounts now. Also- I asked about replacing the engine mount bolts, since two of mine were broken. The guy said that it wouldn't be a problem since they're a standard size, and that they'll replace them.
I'm sending mine off on Monday and will report back on the progress-

Re: Engine Mounts?
Great stuff on getting that done Rob!!
Engine/trans mounts are available sometimes on Ebay.australia, for example
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NISSAN-PATRO ... 258d97d5bd
That will be metric thread but otherwise fits just fine. Metric thread simply means you need to use a metric bolt(s) to mount them up, no big deal at all.
Cheers
