67 in TN
Here is a 67 Patrol in Chattanooga Tn. Seems to be in good shape. I have not looked at this one but hoping to go look at it this weekend.

I don't know much about Patrols but this one seems to be in ok shape. Looks like the original seats? I think somebody on this site said they were that original gray? Original split rims? I am assuming the front bumper is not original, rear bumper I am not sure but I like it.
The engine bay seems to be in pretty good shape? with the electrical stuff all where it should be?
I think it has a rattle can paint job due to the window weather stripping being the same color as the paint?
I am kind of doubting that it has 10,000 original miles due to the fact of the paint being rubbed off next to the gas pedal? Seems like it would take more than 10,000 miles to do that?
Really, Really want this one but will take some convincing of the wife.

Re: 67 in TN
Very doubtful that the mileage is original 10,000 - more like 110,000. And at that mileage you hope the engine has already been rebuilt otherwise you're going to be doing it yourself.
There are a lot of molestations on this Patrol that would prevent me from recommending it to a newbie - unless you are very mechanically inclined. The brake master is not stock, the heater core has been bolted on the the outside of the fan housing, alternator has been rewired, solid fuel line has been rerouted, it is probably running an electric fuel pump, with the location of that fuel line the original air filter can't be installed, that tail light that's missing will be nearly impossible to find, etc, etc.

Beyond any hope for intervention

Wow. So much for being original. i definitely doubt it has 10000 miles. I knew that thing in front of the heater wasn't original, but just didn't know what it was.
I knew that the fuel line was kind of looking like it was in the wrong place but wasn't sure. I know the lenses are rare but at the same time the fact that it only needs one is probably rare!.
I am mechanically inclined but not knowledgeable of patrols per se. But that is why this forum exists.

Here goes- I'm about to MILDLY disagree with the Patrol guru one a couple points {walking on eggshells
} <-- just teasin
The master cylinder looks like an original style Tokiko MC to me- but it has a different reservoir adapted to it.
The modified fuel lines look like they route to the original fuel pump.
The heater core... HAHAHAAH -- Hokey, but GENIUS. The fan pulls the heat through the core, and with the core in the engine bay, the passenger floor is safe from rust -- it's a total WTF modification, but I grant 8 points for pure creativity.
I echo Leslie's observation on the alternator - if it was converted and wired in properly, then it might be a bonus, if originality is not a primary concern- However- I have seen MANY more older cars that were converted improperly, and simply using the wrong gauge wire on the main charge line can be a very real and serious fire hazard.
My last opinion (pure opinion, take it or leave it) is that this is only a $5000 vehicle if they can prove that the brake system has been totally overhauled within the past 3-5 years, and if the engine is leak free, with every cylinder making at least 120psi or more on a compression test.

Thanks for the observations. Yeah the price is high. I would be surprised if the brakes have been gone through. Would need a compression test for sure.

Well, like I told John the other day, it's not the first time I've been wrong, and it certainly won't be the last.moore_rb wrote:Here goes- I'm about to MILDLY disagree with the Patrol guru one a couple points {walking on eggshells} <-- just teasin

we'll I wasn't able to get down to see the patrol. Hope it sticks around for a bit longer. I'm hoping he will start dropping the price.
