By the way, Barritt will take him if you want to ship him up this way... She fell in love with him when we visited!

John ;-)
I dont even remember him being that little! He was just an innocent baby then...

He is so far from "innocence" now :angry-fire:

(By the way, I didnt really beat him :)

I was actually in such shock that I was frozen. When I thawed I managed to muster enough to whip his butt though! lol

He is a great boy and super sweet. He just has a problem with everything that sits still.
Tell Barritt Jeff says hello and he'd love to chew up her shoes sometime!

Wow! :o I do totally understand, Jeff has had a penchant for Patrol parts or anything that UPS delivered for a while. I brought him a stuffed animal one day in an attempt to change his taste, that obviously didn't work.

Well, look at the bright side: now you can have that driver's seat cushion upholstered right-side-up. ;)
Beyond any hope for intervention

Wow! Thats horrible! I totally get The Big dog Gone wrong thing. I have a 1.5 yr old German shepard AKA (R.M.F.'er). She is a whopping 100 pounds and is extreamly smart. Can open doors, Completely destroy doors that are locked. Can fit things through a dog door that would stump NASA. It's gotten better but was a long road.... I thought she wouldn't make it. If it wasn't for her lawyer (my wife) She wouldn't have. Sorry for your loss. I feel your pain!

THANKS SLEEPYZZZ

My hounds have free reign on my property and they are really good boys normally. Jeff has been a chewer the while time. In fact, it is rumored that his mother had a hole in her uterus from Jeff

The garage scene looked more like a bomb went off.
There was padding everywhere!
I think I will be able to make do with what Im left with.
I have to find a place to buy the seat foam, the rest I can fix.

Havea great week

I normally dont use foul languag, or even abbreviate it.
In this case I am going to make an exception...

Hi John,

That is far from morbid. It is a reasonable request that I will comply with. I really should have taken pics of the garage before I picked up and discarded all the debri! It truly looked like an explosion :)

I need to respond back to Leslie and let her know that her "positive side" of the situation isn't so positive. Jeff destroyed the jumper seats not the driver seat. (just my luck)

I will get those pics shortly...

Leslie,

I had no clue what "penchant" meant so I appreciate you using it in your reply. I am always looking for words to add to my vocabulary :)

As for Jeff, he only had access to the jumper seats and thoroughly enjoyed them. I had put the front seats in the Patrol a few days prior to mock up where they would be bolted in. I kinda wish I had left the front seat cushion in the garage so there would be a positive side to this horrible event :)

If I try to get at the root-cause of his erratic behavior I would have to narrow it down to last month when you brought him that stuffed animal. Ever since that day he has had an insatiable chewing problem. I think it must have been the stuffing in the animal that created the desire to rip and gnash at the padding in my previously beautiful Patrol seats! I hope you dont feel responsible. I would hate to think that you would feel as if this ENTIRE event was 100% your fault. I know if I were in your shoes I would feel like writing a check for $5,000.00 to cover the carniage. I hope you dont feel such an obligation. I couldn't accept more than $3850.00 from you. I would feel awkward. Please dont try to argue this, I wont accept more than $3850.00.
If you feel it is necessary to give more then I will try to be more understanding. I will take Haji. Please make sure she is washed before delivering.

It's very nice of you to show such fairness and generosity. Also, would you mind replacing the stuffed animal too?
