hello all

Post by reidy »

Gday there. My name is Joel and I just found this forum due to a big black out. Im from central west NSW Australia and am a fan of Patrols.
This is my list of them:
98 GU 2.8td family bus
94 GQ ute and wait for it
78 G60 ute!

My wife got it for me as a Christmas prez a few years ago. Not to rough, no rust sat around for many years. The bloke who previously owned it has cut the chassis and lenghtened it by about 500mm, so I don't think ill ever be able to get it registered. But not to worry, ill get it going and use it as a farm/work ute.

What I would love to own is a MWB model with a hard top. I have come across a few but the old funds department has let me down. Ill keep my eye out and grab a ripper one day.

Welcome to 60Patrol! :text-welcomeconfetti: Good thing that black out brought you here. ;)

We love pictures and all Patrols, so feel free to share. :D

I think you'll work out getting the MWB. Just take lessons from G60michael here, he'll show you how to find G60s around you for cheap prices, and the accessories to go with them. :)
Beyond any hope for intervention

I noticed some words in here that need clarification...

Gday (is this like D day?)
Bloke (out of control joke?)
Ripper (fart?)
500mm (does this equal a mile?)
