1967 Nissan Patrol Far from original with Gun Port

Post by faux40 »

I just can't resist -- A gun port? I wish he'd detail where it is!

Here's the original ad copy from craigslist:
http://spokane.craigslist.org/cto/4131869761.html

1967 Nissan Patrol Far from original (all Jeep, scout and chevy parts)
Clean rig one of about 2700 ever imported to the US lots of custom work,
SBC 350 Crate Engine (from previous owner) runs strong, new edelbrock intake, carb, and valve cover installed less than a year ago
Dana 44 Front and Rear, all new parts just installed in December, new ring gears, pinions, seals, 3/8 steel diff covers front and rear.
t-19 manual transmission (4spd)
Dana 20 twin stick (makes sone chain noise in 3rd) have a spare T-case I'll throw in
4wheel disc brakes all new
new brake lines
new master cylinder
custom bumpers front and rear
new jeep YJ 6in lift suspension
new bilstein shocks
new custom heater core ($390 couldn't find on in US had to be custom made)
new TJ jeep style lights (glass)
new windshield no scratches
gun port (Yes a gun port)
This is a solid rig, full box frame from the factory very clean for its age. Still need a front drive line, I will order one this week and it goes with the rig. Don't need to sell but i will negotiate on price. Will trade for a NICE jeep CJ5, CJ7, CJ8, YJ, or the right TJ. May Trade for classic bronco or Chevelle too. Give me a call if interested Nick (five, zero, nine) 209-66 four seven.

...X3

He managed to shift the engine forward and still use a manual transmission... that's pretty good work.

but, all that power, disk brakes, but no power booster? tsk tsk tsk :naughty:

I also like that it still has orignal Patrol seats... bonus.

He's using different running gear all together - the transmission (t-19 4spd), transfer case and axles. I wish the previous owner of my soft top did as nice a job with the V8!

Looking back through those pictures, I notice a center punkin rear axle and no front drive shaft. Is it still like that?

Yes on the rear diff, Dana 44 from a Scout with 3.73

Front drive shaft was custom built and is installed. I was able to connect with the previous owner (via phone number from Craigslist ad in Archives!) and get a lot of good info on it.
