Really old stuff that got saved. Here are the old Nissan Patrol Club America messages from the 'General' category. Warning, it's dusty in here!

Endless hours of joy, days of frustration, moments of extreme pride when everyone ask "what the heck is that thing",non stop addiction to message forums and ebay for anything Patrol related be it parts or info,a back yard full of parts Patrols becuase It's like Lays chips you can't just have one you might need it someday, studying Trip Maker to find out how long it takes to get from you to the lattest find, road trips to pick up anything Patrol, and last but not least A GREAT GROUP OF FREINDS WHO ARE EAGER TO OFFER ADVICE BE IT GOOD OR BAD. Welcome to the wild world of Patrols. WOW....The joy/frustration ratio seems to be a bit off to me... I get a whole lot more joy than frustration and I 4-wheel mine!

I haven't been able to wheel a P-troll in a year.....   I still get tons of joy from them. Rebuilding P-trolls is almost as good as off-roading them.

Hey Fud Since you are in the middle of a frame off, where do you plan to get yout brake master cylinder from?  Another vehicle?  Rebuild? I have a 66 Patrol, and thats what is keeping me from having her on the road (or should i say moving on the road since it has been parked on the road for months).  Anyone else who reads this can feel free to chime in.   Osborn

If you are replacing it anyway why not have Ian get you a dual master. Maybe even a power boosted one????? Keith Jon, I guess i should have said moments of frustration. Mine is pretty much hassle free. Espeically since I drove it home from CA site unseen to AR.

You can still get brake masters from Nissan. The part# is 46010-44001, and it is about $113. There ia also a rebuild kit available on eBay quite frequently, it usually goes for $20 - $25.
So, I just bought this Patrol….

What's the last time you were able to get one? Last time I checked they were NLA.

I got one earlier this year, from http://www.nissanparts.cc/ . I don't remember exactly when, but it was a few months ago.   I've actually been able to get some good stuff through them: shocks, water pump, T/stat by-pass hose, various gaskets, etc. They are dealer prices, but they give a good discount on the web. You must have part numbers, though. The web site only lets you search by part number.   When I have extra time and extra $$$ I'll sit here and put in a bunch of part numbers from my parts book. If it comes back as available I order it. But only about 60% of what I order do I actually get, sometimes less. It's pretty much a grab bag. The good thing is I know I'll never end up spending the full amount of the order. The bad thing is I never know what I'm going to get until it arrives at my doorstep - about 4 weeks later.

I've got the 1980 Microfiche so if you need the latest part # on something let me know. Some of the #'s in the parts books are old and won't show up. I believe the dealers go by the 1980 #'s. Keith
