Rear taillights

Post by Socalwrencher »

I am looking at these to replace the non stock rears.

Can anyone let me know how close these are to stock?
I have seen pics but I don't know what they look like up close.

Those look fine.
Sorry no photos while my computer is dead.
The originals have a lens that is 2 1/2", 3 3/4" chrome bezel, the bezel sticks out about 3/4" and the lens another 1/2" past that. the bezel shape comes to a peak while this replacement has the peak knocked off flat.
I would not get too concerned.....get brake lights and drive safe.
They really look fine.

Thanks Bosque, I have some brake light on there now, but they stick out to far and the spare hits it and on the other side the license plate frame hits the top. Thanks for the input i'm going to go with these

They look really good. Good find.

One limitation will be that they are not DOT approved, but depending on how your vehicle is registered, that might not be a problem. Mine for instance is registered as Antique, and I don't have to go through inspections.

Maybe pass an inspection with the current ones if DOT approved.....they probably won't care or see it anyways.

We don't have any inspections where I live. We don't even have smog. It's so nice
