1967 Patrol... A family project

Howdy All!

We're really excited to join up with everyone in Nissan Patrol Land! We picked up a '67 Patrol with a soft top for a family project. What better way to teach the kids all about how cars work than something as cool and rare (at least in the US) as a Patrol. Lots of work ahead of us and we've already started pulling ideas from all your posts. We're all excited to jump right in and get started!

Welcome to 60Patrol to the whole family! :text-welcomewave: Patrols often make for good family projects. :D

Thanks for the picture! You're Patrol does look to be in pretty nice condition. The soft top frame looks mostly complete and original. '67 was the year they had that upright support in the center of the side window. They changed that design real fast. So you've got something pretty unique there. Looks like you have plenty of helpers to get the project going! Feel free to post up more pictures and keep us posted with your progress!

Where did you find the Patrol, and where in CA are you? If you can get me pics of the VIN plate, the VIN stamped on the frame and the engine number I would be happy to add your's to the USA Patrol Registry. :D

Wow! If I knew the soft top was so valuable, I would have offered the guy more! I have say that my picking up a soft-top has much, much more to do with luck than wealth! If any one is interested, I'd be happy to take close ups of the soft top frame and provide detailed dimensions.
