my patrol is back!
well, a friend of mine who is very knowledgeable about cars and engines, came over today and took a look at my partrol. within ten minutes he had it running like a champ! apparently, in order to start up this patrol when cold this patrol needs to have the choke closed completely. the way I had it set up the choke could only be closed within an 1/8th of fully closed. basically, he checked a spark plug and found it to be dry. so he then put his hand over the carb and had me try to start it. it then started right up! fortunately the fuel and ignition was set up correctly, the timing was close too. so, now im gonna keep the patrol and try to finish the loose ends om it. thanks to all of u for helping me through this challenging time.
