Bummer just got this cable, its not a speedo cable, it's a throttle cable for ???? :doh:

Wow, it sure looks like a speedo cable in the listing. Did they package it wrong?

2869ral, you should buy the lottery! What are the chances of misplacing a throttle cable for the speedometer one?

With that number, I was able to find it at other part stores, like Rockauto. Supposedly fits a number of Datsun/Nissan and one Toyota LC.

Must have been packed wrong. Yep just confirmed it, it's boxed wrong. :cry: :roll: :x :violin:

The dimmer switch does fit and the holes are good.

I spent a lot of time running a new wire today and I couldn't get low beams. I am still not getting voltage from the switch to the low beam wire.

My fuel gauge also stopped working today. I must have done something to it. This truck is definitely putting me through the paces.

Sounds like the new dimmer switch is not connected properly.
