Hard to believe but the 73 hasnt been driven in at least 10 months. Was up there last night measuring driveshaft for Miller and started her up, battery was dead and used the power pack, but after pumping some fuel through she was fine. Gez she looks lice, shes under a cover and is so clean, snooth and a nice shine
Was thinking shes needs to come home for a weekend and play, but no time for that

And how long has it been now since she's been started? That is still and amazing looking G60!
Beyond any hope for intervention

about every 6 months !! if lucky
She is tucked away in a multistory building carpark with no weather issues, humidy or anything so not worried.

Keep this ute Steve. Even if you do not drive it too much. If you have a spot to store....just keep it. So handy to have for gardening, trash hauling, redneck running the dogs
, 4xing some tracks......

Well fark fark fark
What a night
Well take the GU to Hurstville with battery pack and spare battery with leads, hadnt been started in around 2 years.
Get to the car with my keys and fark me, didnt have the 73 key on my G60 keyring. Broke in via back canvas, hotwired the ignition and after both batteries cranking away no start, then realised I had wired it back to front, after that she fired into life. Pumped up 1 flat tyre and we were off up the ramp. She stalled and I had to reconnect all batteries and stuff around hot wiring her again, in teh dark I connected the battery via jump leads back to front
Could smell burning plastic, luckily she started again, no fire but hoping my loom survived. But Id say the White wure from starter to amp guage and White Red back to fuse box took a beating.
Anyhow drove home and loved it, feels tight, love the 3 speed and felt like a kid in dads car. Anyhow drove back to hurstvill and checked the GU through NO KEY, have pulled half the house apart NO KEY. Now getting very chitty as cant find it. Going to search online and see if I can buy a nissan key already cut to the number on my key, ARGHHHHHHH

Re: Swerve 1973 MWB Soft Top
Going to have to get a key cut as the fuel cap is also keyed to the door and ignition.
Still looking in the house but no go, found a place that will do it for $90 if I bring the door lock and ignition barrel in. Borrowed the ignition from HP last night so I could drive down to the mechanic today.
