Hi everybody, we are here again, almost a year but there were a few things that have take me apart of patroling. Last time troll was already painted and electrical working on. in that time we were having problems whith my 1 year old son health, we have to solve a Patent Ductus Arteriosus, (cardiac issue) and a surgery was the only option. so finally last month was the surgery and after the most awful days now my son is already fine, and completely recovered, thanks God for that.
Now Back to my other problem... or my anti stress therapy: the Patrol, 3 years and still nothing

Glad to hear about your son! That's wonderful. We'll keep praying for him.

The progress is starting to show! Instrument panel looks great. I guess that you'll paint the rims of the meters. The locking hubs look amazing. Congratulations. Please report how the temperature sender and the oil one are performing. Good score on those parts.

About the instruments rims, do you think it doesn´t look good in green?

Thanks again bro, i hope this thursday (labor day in Nicaragua) i can be working and make more progress in the patrol, maybe turn on the ignition key and warm up the engine

Sorry, I was looking at a small picture on my phone so couldn't notice the painted rims. They look fine. Well done. It is part of the charm of having a Patrol an adding some personal touches here and there. I'm not a purist by the way. Good luck tomorrow.

What a great idea to paint the instrument trim body color! I see that idea catching on more.

Kind of progress today, so i put on the new "sensors", oil and temp, they work great, and most important the meters in the instrument panel work fine, that a big relief, because i didn't want to put some Chinese meters in somewhere the control dash, the only one that didn't work was the fuel meter, but i have to check it because last time when i bought the troll it was the only one working. Then i put a new fuel filter, put some gas and a battery and turn the engine on, cranky at first but i guess its the carburetor that is dusty, one hour later the temp was fine, oil pressure fine, battery charge fine, the engine sounds really great, i guess next thing is do some work in the famous patrol brakes.... i want to take a little ride with my son but that brakes working like crap i don't want to take a risk. Disc brakes it´s the only option. So i think i´m getting closer to finish the first part of the project, (put the troll back in the streets), hope do more progress the weekend. I mean first part because this is a hole life project, you´ll never end working in something else with this cars.
