I posted these in the forsale section but figure I can get a little more attention by adding a post here. First patrol is a 1977 Ute imported from New Zealand. Second patrol is a 1983 SWB SD33 diesel Patrol originally from Germany. Letting both go for under what I have into them. More info on these trucks can be found here....   http://www.rockymountianpatrol.netfirms ... m.php?f=11

No my LG61 is not for sale...it is not even in the USA yet. FYI, the 61 series is extremly rare anywhere in the world. 61's are right up there with some of the rarest Ptrols ever made....to get one will cost you a lot of money and effort. They were only sold and made from 1980-1984...this also was only in a handful of countries worldwide. So don't expect to find one and if you do get lucky expect to pay a lot for the truck.   FYI, the 61 series is basically the old Patrol body style sitting on the more modern MQ 160 series Patrol chassis. They have a different tranny, diffs, motor, ect than the old Patrols which IMHO makes them highly desireable.

yup...I saw a parts book for the 61 series in South America at a Nissan dealership. They wouldn't sell the book though and I have yet to get them to loan it to me so I can copy it. This parts book was just on the 61 series....   I too have 160 series, ie MQ service books. An yes the 61's are shown in there. If you have looked the book over you can clearly see what makes a 61 series different from a 60 series or even the 160 series. They are unique and my favorite model of Patrol ever made.   I know where to find good solid LG61's. The prob is they are not in the USA. They have to be 25 years old to import easily. And this all takes cash, thousands of dollars too. Maybe someday I will be able to bring some 61's in for resale....until then good luck getting one on your own. I just got lucky on my 61 but...the green LG61 is mine, I own it, just need $3500 so I can get it imported and start driving it. Going on 2 years I have owned this truck and only driven it maybe 30 minutes. Man let me tell ya that takes major patients!   If you are really into an LG61 and have cash to make it happen feel free to contact me. I can make it happen but this is not for the average Patrol owner. Importing a very rare Patrol is reserved for us Patrol freaks.
