I was just about to order two Napa 11190 brake hoses for the front axle of my '65 L60 according to the old compatible parts list, then I checked the updated list to find they supposedly won't fit pre-68 Patrols. I checked the picture on the Napa site and the 11190 looks very close except for having a clip attachment on the female end rather than a nut. Does anyone know if this the only difference? Better yet, does anyone know the right hoses for my '65? I'm tempted to buy one of the 11190 hoses just to see if I can make it work. Thanks!

In case anyone is interested, the Napa 11190 hose doesn't fit earlier vehicles (at least not a 1965 L60). The length is correct, and the female end will fit the steel brake line on the axle. The clip attachment could replace the original nut attachment. However, the male end of the 11190 is too small for the fitting on the hub backing plate. I now have one new Napa 11190 brake hose in box that's free to anyone who wants to pay the postage. Also, would anyone be kind enough to tell me if they have found the correct hoses for this application?
