Re: Front Brake Cylinder AC Delco 18G94 Rebuild Kits - Out of Stock
If used aftermarket wheel cylinders before. Some 30 years ago. I'm sure you'll be fine. There's not much mystery on a part like that. Any response on the use of the ProTex wheel cylinders is appreciated because the OEM wheel cylinders are not avaialble nor are rebuild kits, though the front ( i thin...

Re: 1968 L60 Starter Motor
Accordig to the link in Amazon, it should work. I still have one on my spare parts with the markings S114-184. I brought mine from overseas, from a ‘74 model I totalled. I have swapped both. Don’t worry about the size. It’s deceiving but actually is a more powerful one: 1.2kW of the newer model vs 1...

Re: 1978 Patrol on eBay in Indiana
Looks good. Probably came from Colombia. One small difference is that some of the bolts are metric, and not standard like earlier Patrols. The 3 wiper system is nice. I just saw a Bring a Trailer auction this week that sold for 21k. This one looks good at that price. I will comment separately about ...

Re: FUEL PUMP REBUILD
Nissan over the years switched back and forth between two lengths of the diaphragm for two slightly different pump designs. I'm sure there was a bean counter involved. I have dealt with the two designs in the past. They are almost identical and difficult to distinguish between the two unless you do ...

Re: Fuel Pump
With that outrageous price for the fuel pump at a couple of sites, I will install an electric fuel pump in the meantime. A universal electric fuel pump 4-7 psi will do it. I think a couple of members have done it. I would go that route in a heartbeat if that was my case. Some purist here will not li...

Re: Rear Brake Shoes Position and Return Springs
Hi Esteban, Thank you for your pics, etc. On my 67, the rear wheel was so tight I couldn't turn it by hand. On the very bottom of the passenger side wheel, on the inside of the wheel there is a bolt, and I backed the bolt off a couple turns and then the wheel would spring freely. But that is not th...

Re: 1966 Patrol- Flagstaff AZ
The installed Wilwood worked fine for a few miles then the front brakes would get hot then lock up. ... L60Boerne David, If this happen it is typical due to lack of a small clearance between the pushrod and the piston on the master cylinder. When it happens, one way to troubleshoot is to free a cou...

Re: Back on Patrol
Excellent progress! Congratulations!
You've done a lot, and specially are providing some solutions to difficult to get parts.
If possible, could you please post a picture of the fuel pump installed? This could be a game changer for many of us.
Thanks.

Re: emergency brake assistance
I will be able to take some measurements in 2 weeks. I will try to do a scan of one of the cams. I'm sure that you can duplicate yourself the cams with a bit of patience.
