Sorry about the typo, i thought I typed 3/16. The pedal going to the floor on the first try sounds like your brake shoes need adjusted. If they are a long ways from contacting the drums it will take two pumps of the pedal to get the shoes to move far enough to contact the drums. Try adjusting the s...

That should be standard 5/16 double flare. Double flare is for brake line application, single flare is for fuel line application. Yeah, if they are not sure dont let them touch it. You should find a Napa or some other shop. Take in the old section, they should be able to refab that over the counter.
