well i've got a spare 80lt mk '85' patrol tank i'm in melbourne???? any help??  

the hose connecting the rocker cover and the air filter is just a breather hose. some times the rocker cover will vave its own smaller filter, or is somewhere else. either way its not anything to worry about

to the guy with the gear problem,  check your oil level in your gearbox, it could b low and thats wat u r hearing. i know this cos it happened to me. it can also be caused by water getting into the box and ruining the oil. goodluck
