TBI instead of carb?

I think this is a good idea, but it is rather expensive. I have had an idea for a while, that just might work. I was thinking of getting the efi off of a jeep 4.0L motor and adapting it to a patrol. You would need to make a special manifold, just for the efi though, as it is multiport. This would be...

67 fuse box part number?

Thanks alot for those part numbers.  Do you have the fiche or a parts book?  Anyhow I checked and the first number you gave me shows up on nissanautoparts.com for like 20 bucks or so.  I think I will get it as I like to keep things original.  Thanks again,   Dave

67 fuse box part number?

Does anybody have access to the fiche out there that can give me the part number for the fuse box out of my 67 patrol.  Mine is totally corroded.  Just wondering if they still have it available (probably not).  Would like to look it up on nissanautoparts.com  Hey if you can help, that is great.  I h...

PARTS NEEDED: Leaf Springs

Hey, your welcome. Get the ones for the SWB as the MWB was never imported into the US. That is if your rig is a SWB! The SWB only has a wheelbase of 80 some inches or so. Also the diff on the SWB is the same size in the front as in the back. Anyhow, if you are ever able to contact Ironman and order ...

PARTS NEEDED: Leaf Springs

You can check out http://www.ironmansuspension.com/ this is the only place I know of that offers a suspension kit for the patrol. I think it lifts it maybe 2 ". Don't know anybody who has gotten one here in the states. Looks like they might sell the springs in the kit seprately though. Might be...

torque settings wanted

check the other forums. In the engine/mech section somebody posted that they had converted the nissan P40 engine manual to pdf format. I checked out the site and its for real, but the file is really big. This would have all the information you need.

rear engine seal blown!!

At least I think I blew my rear engine seal. Was driving my patrol this weekend and it really started to leak bad from the back of the engine. Checked everything out and still can't finitely determine where it is coming from. I believe it must be the rear seal. Guess I'll have to fix that sometime t...

Why does everyone want to make changes

There are a couple of major reasons why people over here in the States are looking for new engines, transmissions, etc. that will work with our patrols. The major reason is parts availablility. Since so few patrols were imported to the US between 1962-69, it is getting harder and harder to find part...

Nissan Patrol Overdrive!!in the works!

Hey this is great. I would be totally game for a 600 buck overdrive!! I am sure with the right resources, it should be easy to make one. I bet the patrol transfer case is quite similar to the old jeeps. I knew that things could happen when the right people with the right resources came together. I w...

patrol tansfer case similar to spicer 18?

I was looking in a friends jeep magazine and it had a picture of the spicer 18 transfer case which was used in most jeeps up into the 1960's. Anybody actually compared these two transfer cases side by side? Maybe the spicer could be adapted to fit a patrol or maybe an overdrive unit for a spicer cou...
