I am curious as to what engine modifications anyone has done. I haven't been able to pull anything up with a search.   I was wondering if anyone has retro-fitted a dry (K&N type) air filter, had a custom header built, or even strapped a supercharger to it.   I really like the torquey engine, but...

Head work

I am about to purchase a Patrol that smokes. I was told that it needs head work, and that is the "smoking problem"   Anyway, where is a good source for rebuild parts fo rthe 1969 P40 engine?
