Re: Back on Patrol

I have been trying to verify the fuel pump arm geometry of the 170101-50k00 to the patrol original. Best I can come up with is this overlay of photos found on the internet. I noticed that it looks like 17010-50K00 has cast in provisions for the fuel pump primer maybe.

Re: Back on Patrol

L60Boerne, Not sure if it will help but here's a picture of the carb I received and installed. My experience with Amazon is they will take just about anything back and its easy at least here in Wichita. Drop it off at KOHLS and you don't even have to pack it. The 67 patrol has been way more cooperat...

Re: Back on Patrol

I bought the one with the fuel outlet on the passenger side because it has the air filter stud. If you search Rochester 1BBL on amazon you will find a copy with the fuel inlet i...

Re: Back on Patrol

On the 69 the process started with no spark and found everything rusted under the waterproof cap?? Cleaned it up and found a new set of points in the glovebox. This got it running but not very well. Tried rebuilding the Rochester carb but no improvement. I picked up a THUNDERMINGO Chinese copy of a ...

Back on Patrol

Hello, Great to be part of the 60 patrol forum. I've been using this amazing resource to get a couple patrols back up and running. In high school(1995) I was big into jeeps, didn't even know Nissan Patrols existed. Went to a junk yard that was supposed to have some jeep parts and low and behold I sp...
