electrical problem

Thanks,   I'll check the wiring diagram. I was wondering if there was a relay that those three go though  besides the fuse box which is in pretty good shape at first glance. It doesn't appear that the electrical system has been touched since day one .  Has anyone completely rewired their Patrol ?   ...

electrical problem

Okay,   I need some help. My headlights are out as well as my brake lights and horn. Everything else works including the turn signals. Is there a relay that the headlights, brake lights, and horn go through ? If there is a relay does anyone have a part number for it.   Thanks in advance,   Phil

fuel pump

Guys,   I replaced my electric fuel pump with another one. The patrol still ran poorly. I then installed an inline fuel filter and bypassed the original one. It now runs much better. Could it be that the electric fuel pump and the original fuel filter set up were a poor combination ? I'll consider g...

gear ratios

I think the speed is the reason they didn't sell well over here. They were a well built workhorse but not intended for highway use.Why not get a Defender 90 ? The Patrol look and a good road vehicle ? (I know-- too expensive)

fuel filter lows

Hi,   I've got a problem in the fuel filter. Gas sits just below the filter in the bowl and doesn't make it to the filter. I've cleaned, replaced, and tightned everything according to the manual. But it still sits below the filter. I've thought about going to an inline filter to see if it solves the...
