i changed all mine out...engine tranny and t case...i went with a FI 351 c-6 and 205 t case twin sticked the 205....the ford v-8 works nice due to the narrow heads...more power and torque then anyone could use....plus i changed the gear box to a power steering unit which is very nice...this thing is...

350 in a 67 patrol??

it is actually better to use ford stuff due to the widths on the heads...the ford is narrower and fits in nicely compared to the chevy 350....i have a fi 351 in my 65 and it RUNS

i just finished this problem with mine also....it turned out to be a worn throttle shaft...this allows the butterfly to stay open and not create a good vacuum at idle...checked around and found carb shops in my area to run about 60-75 to rebush the shaft...i ended up using some teflon shimms and it ...

well i have a 65 patrol...it also has a alternator...the system is a negative ground system....all my wiring is still stock...except for a few things that i added....; ; ty

chris,; ; i have been there.....i have a 65 sprung over dana 44 front and rear fuel injected 5.0 to a c-4 to a 205.....it sits on 37 in tires and the thing wheels like no other...if u have any questions of run into any problems let me know...i built everything myself....plus i have some stock parts ...

WELL HERE IS WHERE I STAND WITH SECOND BUILT PATROL....SPRUNG OVER ON DANA 44S OUT OF A WAGONEER....FRONT AND REAR...THE STEERING ...USED A FORD STEERING BOX...THAT WORKS BEAUTIFUL...STEERING IS ALL DONE WITH HEMI JOINTS...IT SITS ON 37 INCH TIRES AND FLEXS LIKE A MONSTER...WILL SIDE HILL ANY STOCK ...
