You could always get the cylinders sleeved & new pistons, should you run into trouble. Often stainless sleeves and pistons are a far better alternative to OEM stuff, but some OEM are better than others. the Rubber caps can be purchased at most auto parts stores, they have many generic sizes. if ...

I will look into it for you, as I am going to convert a couple g60's in july. I think the only necessary items to rewire are starter, alternator (regulator) and reversal of the grounding straps. The rest should work as per normal, as it doesn't matter how you power your lights or fan etc. I'm no...
