When there isn't a harness for a radio I just straigt wire the positive to the battery. No noise because it is grounded so well. I don't believe the altenator has a ground so that would cause the noise. The toggle switch isn't a bad idea either with out having an accesory switch in the ignition.>Fro...

If anyone reads Outside magazine there was a mention of the Patrol in the newest issue. I belive it was page 47.

I have owned several newer nissans and they never gave me any trouble or let me down. They were all very high mileage (200,000 +) I believe the newer patrols wouldn't let us down. They may not be as tough or unique ,but i'm sure the ride is a lot nicer. Just my opinion.
