GM Carb float level question.

My 1966 patrol has been fitted with a rochester carb, you know the carb. What should I set the float level at? I have a feeling that the level is set too high and I'm burning way to much gas ( the black smoke is a bit of a give-away). I just can't find the specs on the Rochester carb and need your h...

KL stock fuel pump meltdown

My stock fuel pump (1966 Patrol) is leaking gas into the motor. Where oh where can I find replacement diaphrams or a new aftermarket pump that bolts right on. I've gone the electric pump route and I've decided that they are the devil. Thanks Adam Foster

I purchased my 66 Patrol months back and have spent those months trying to figure out a way to make it crawl AND go over 50 mph. I thought there were no easy fixes out there till I saw this thread. Stock G60 fuel pump rebuild....

Sorry , I deleted the above message after I found out that my Patrol is a L60, not a G60. What I'm looking for are replacement diaphrams and gaskets for my 1966 Patrol fuel pump. I just got it a few weeks ago and the previous owner replaced the original pump with an electric one. It NEVER stops buzz...
