Kyle, where did you send the p40 to be rebuilt? I know there are companies that rebuild the p40 but they are more of a industrial application. Thanks and good luck on yours

I just sent mine to Now and Then and they did an amazing job. Quick turn around and for $109 I practically have a new pump.

Thank you! I just picked up two boxes of old parts from the original owner. He kept great care of it and it doesn't hurt that he was a mechanic too. Mechanic in tampa area
I know that I will get a lot of kick back for this but I am curious if anyone lives in or near the tampa area and has a mechanic they would recommend. im going to become a diy-er but would like some one to walk me through my 67.

Thank you RiverPatrol, I would have never figured that out. Like I said I'll eventually paint it. A local mechanic talked me out of adding an electric fuel pump.
