1969 Clutch Slave Cylinder
Thanks for all the input. I bought a new slave cylinder on e-bay but haven't put it in yet. Those of you describing all the "normal" grinding were describing exactly what I am experiencing. Going into second before pulling into low or reverse really does make a difference.

Thanks. I saw it too and ended up buying it. Sure hope it fixes my clutch problem. I'm tired of grinding gears especially when going into low gear.

What a great find. I'm fighting the exact same problem today. I found a hose that fits but couldn't figure out how to make the heater hose connection. You guys have some good ideas. Would appreciate pictures of your fixes. joel.suty@att.net

When I had an old Jeep, we bought Hydravacs which were very simple to install and only needed a vacuum line and hook up to the hydraulics. Worked fantastic. It was quite a few years ago though (late 60's). They had been used on a number of cars which we merely went to the junkyards and removed. I'd ...

Wonderful news. A great contribution to all of us chasing parts and especially myself who is contemplating overhaul. Thanks.
