Well, heres some facts to get your mind to movin...1. The Nissan Patrol pitman arm has the same spline count as that of a GM steering box.2. Datsun Z-cars have similar steering boxes that mount on the inside of the frame rather than the outside.3. IHC Scout II, 70's model Ford trucks, and 80's model...

You could swap in an SD33T out of a Scout II if you are lucky enough to find one. Theyre pretty good engines. You will lose about 30 or so horsepower, but gain alot in torque.

Do you have a wiring diagram?

That more than likely has something to do with the fact that our USA Patrols have oil bath air breathers, whereas, Ive seen OZ 70's model 60-series that had paper element air breathers.
