Hello, I am currently on the hunt for a brake wheel cylinder set (front & rear) for my 1969 Patrol. Only one I have found online was from a company in Australia. I attempted to order and make contact but that has been near impossible. They will not message back. Anyone know where I could get my ...

IMG_2300D.JPG No problem at all and thank you for the quick reply and picture. I just ordered the PerTronix 1763LS Ignitor so fingers cros...

Is there a way to tell from this picture what type of distributor I have?
I appreciate any help, this is all a learning experience for me.

Pertronix 1762 for a 1969 Patrol?
I inherited my 1969 Patrol from my grandfather a few years back. I have some mechanical knowhow and have done several steps to get this beast rolling again. However, there were a few more advanced fixes that needed to be addressed to get her road-ready so I handed it off to a local mechanic. He did ...

Marvels Mystery Oil --- fix all???
My Patrol has not fired up for 20 years this June and is a little gunked up. Would it hurt to drain the motor oil completely and put maybe three liters of Marvels Mystery Oil in and let it sit for a fe days to break up any old sludge that may have formed over the years? Periodically giving a revolut...

Re: Voltage regulator smoking
Thank you so much that is very helpful, thank for for taking the time to post all that info for me. I will get the new regulator and hopefully fire this beast up soon. It's been sitting 20 years this June and just recently made a push to get it going again. We checked and replaced hoses, cleaned gas...

Voltage regulator smoking
In the process of bringing my '69 back to life and when I went to start it the voltage reg started smoking. Took the case off and saw one of the wires had been melted. I know the common thought may be that it was a bad voltage reg. Does anyone have any ideas why this may been happening? I don't want...

2. It looks like I have a crank start hole( sounds dirty I know) does it work for starting the patrol? What is the purpose behind that?
