We were able to fix the exiting gears. The issue was resolved by pushing the cable in a bit further and tightening the assembly to hold in place.

Any more updates on a workable temp sensing unit? We tried one of the Helmar ones and it did not work on our 1964/1967, appears to be from a later vintage.

I've got an original temp gauge in my 67 but a faulty temperature sending unit. Anyone have and idea on where to find a replacement or compatible part?
