also RHD tie rods are metric thread, USA Patrols have standard thread. That causes issues trying to put a non-USA tie rod on a USA Patrol. Keep in mind the truck is 41yrs old. It was designed in the 1950's using technology dating to the 1930s! While all old trucks are cool the Patrol is my pick. But...

Not sure I agree....Do we know what his intended use for the truck is, I don't see where he has really said that.As you have stated the truck was never intended for hwy use or high speeds. Offroad the suspension could use tons of improvement. Stock it has somehting like 6-8" of flex with everyt...

Parts are readily available for your truck in Colombia, S.A.Not far from you so shouldn't be to hard to find. I myself have been to Bogota and can tell you there are many parts stores there that sell new and used parts, both Nissan and aftermarket.

Try Dobinsons of Australia or about a half dozen other Aussie companies that still make lift kits for the old 60 series.Other option is to have a company like Alcan make you a custom set of springs. That I am sure sounds expensive but really it isn't to bad, less than a lift kit from Aus.Your worst ...

there is no lockers for 60 series Patrols....Only options are to have something custom made or swap out the diffs.

There was 2616 sold in the USA....I have seen so many over the years. I am pretty sure there is about 1800-2000 of those left, perhaps as many as 2200. Of course that is in all conditions from totally history to prefect originals. People didn't crush these trucks. Even junkyards have a hard time cru...
