Re: Greetings from Golden
Thanks for link, RiverPatrol - looks like I'll be cutting and welding, but nice to know someone has fresh sheetmetal for these.. The adapter is u-shaped, I need to crawl under and see what it looks like from underneath - for all practical purposes, it could be made using 2 separate steel blocks, lef...

Re: Greetings from Golden
Ah - I was just looking at the picture posted by Bosque, that must be a through-shaft going from the e brake lever over to the twin-stick side, then actuating the rod back to the e-brake. Hmm. Would take some engineering for me to do that on this current setup, but someone building a plate/adapter c...

Re: Greetings from Golden
Yep, I agree - everything I've seen shows the Handbrake lever bolted to the original Nissan bellhousing, something not possible with the chevy truck bellhousing in place on mine. I would like to have some place to attach the lever and then cable it to the e-brakes on the toyota rear end, but I may g...

Re: Greetings from Golden
Well, one of us has no idea what he is talking about, and since I just met all of you, it must be me - it has been a while since I have been digging around in the Patrol, and my feeble mind confused the somewhat cobbled power brake / clutch bracket with the extremely well-made trans adapter plate - ...

Re: Greetings from Golden
Thanks for the welcome - yep, this was Jeffs', down in Littleton south of Hampden - he still has a lot of parts available and lists them on the Denver Craigslist. Another couple of nice conversions he added were an FJ40 rear axle (still need to find shocks that fit) and power brakes - built an adapt...

Greetings from Golden
Hello everyone - just learned about 60Patrol.com from Grenadier, thought I'd take a look and register - I have a yellow 67 that has been around the Denver area for a while, it has a 327 Chevy conversion with an adapter plate to the original Hitachi trans, so the 4WD drivetrain is still complete. The...
